1990 ICS Niagara
Perspective Report by

I jammed the usual necessities into my suitcase, grabbed a sleeping bag, tent, a cooler full of food, and PLENTY of raingear. I was ready to conquer yet another funfilled weekend at the ICS conference. This August week-end is not just another weekend campout. Many people, both young and old, come together and join in Christian fellowship, seminars, services, tournaments, and even a dance for us energetic young people!!!

The Sunday services were great! The gymnasium was packed with people praising God. The was so good that I nearly forgot about the heat.

At the dance the DJ’s, Pete and Justin, did a terrific job. It was a big success.

For myself, the highlight of the whole was the opportunity to see old friends and to meet new ones.

On Monday afternoon, my damp sleeping bag rolled up and leftover food packed, I was ready to leave the Christian College grounds. Even though it was kind of sad to say good-bye, I know there will be next year — and another weekend I will definitely not want to miss!
